Who we are

This policy covers smartersiptv4k.ca and the subscription services we sell (“Smarters IPTV”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@smartersiptv4k.ca or through the contact page.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and run your subscription:

• Form details: when you use our free trial, reseller or contact forms, we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to enter, such as your phone number, province, device, app and message.
• Subscription details: your account username, plan, number of screens and renewal dates.
• Messages: the content of emails and WhatsApp conversations you have with us.
• Payment information: the confirmation of your payment. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
• Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

• To send your free trial or subscription login and help you set it up.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To process payments, renewals and refunds.
• To review reseller requests.
• To protect the website and our customers from spam, fraud and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share information with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Hosting: our website and email are hosted by Hostinger.
• Messaging: if you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
• Service suppliers: the information needed to create and manage your subscription account.
• Payment providers: the details needed to process your payment.
• The law: when we are required to by law or a valid legal request.

Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, in which case it may be accessible to authorities in those countries under their laws.

Cookies and outside services

This website uses the cookies it needs to work, plus Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to count visits and see which pages are useful. Analytics cookies record things like the pages you view, your approximate location and your device type, and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on. Some content, such as fonts and icons, loads from outside services (Google Fonts and jsDelivr), which may receive your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep form requests and messages for as long as we need them to help you, and subscription records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable time after, as required for accounting and legal purposes. After that, the information is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.
• Withdraw your consent to us using your information, although we may then be unable to provide the service.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) website and access limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
